Purpose of magnetic therapy application in arthrosis of the spine
In arthrosis of the spine, the purpose of magnetic therapy is to reduce pain, release muscle contractions and achieve better mobility of the spine.
Before starting treatment with magnetotherapy, I had severe pain in the hip, neck and lumbar spine and shoulder joint. During the treatment period, I have to say that the difficulties in each case are receding. They are no longer so intense and frequent.Jaroslav Soldán, Břidličná
Magnetotherapy generally alleviates back pain and spine pain. I've been using it for 2 years, switching programs. It will not cure the issues, but it will ease so much that I can move, I do not have to go to rehabilitation anywhere and I can be treated at home when I need it at home.Jaroslav Šabatka, Protivín
Using magnetic therapy in arthrosis of the spine
In arthrosis of the spine, the program is a shortened version of Program No. 3 – joint arthrosis; the shorter application time is used for repeated daily applications, especially in more sensitive individuals. In the clinical mode, a frequency range below 50 Hz is added in arthrosis of the spine for more intensive stimulation of healing. Apply this program preferably as follow-up care after preceding reduction of acute pain by Program No. 1. Use it, for example, for degenerative changes in the vertebrae and intervertebral discs with possible nerve root compression.
Using analgesic and spasmolytic effects, we try to relax muscle contractions and blocks, and the anti-swelling effect of Biomag low-frequency magnetic therapy reduces swelling of the intervertebral discs and surrounding tissues, which reduces pressure on the nerve roots. As a result, the position of the vertebrae is unblocked and mobility improved. Application of magnetic therapy can precede rehabilitation exercise, manipulation, etc.
You can treat these problems as well
- Herniated disc, nerve compression, radicular syndromes (vertebrogenic algic syndrome)
- Arthritis of the spine
- Arthrosis of the spine
- Bechterew’s disease
- Nerve compression (chronic)
- Sciatica (acute)
