The intended purpose of the Biomag LightFit DUO medical device
Biomag LightFit DUO is an active therapeutic device – a medical device intended for use alone or in combination with other medical procedures and devices as an adjunctive therapy within the overall therapeutic intent.
The purpose of Biomag® low-frequency pulsed magnetotherapy applications is to use their biological effects on tissues to help control certain manifestations (symptoms) of disease. It is mainly about pain, swelling, spasms, changes in microcirculation, as well as promoting healing and controlling other symptoms that can be affected by these effects.
Physiological changes in tissues occur after Biomag® pulsed magnetotherapy applications due to pain relief and, in particular, induced vasodilation of capillaries and pre-capillaries and the resulting therapeutic effects:
– analgesic – analgesic, relieving the sensation of pain
– healing – promoting regeneration, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic effects
– anti-current – anti-edema
– myorelaxant – relieving spasms (cramps)
– vasodilating – especially improving microcirculation
– metabolic-detoxification – accelerates the breakdown of pollutants and metabolites
Designed for use on intact skin over a protective layer, e.g. disposable or other sanitary pad.
When using the equipment, it is necessary to follow in particular the Safe Operating Principles together with the Contraindications/Indications and to operate it in accordance with the specified environmental conditions. Basic safety information is also shown on the instrument display.
