The combined effect of a pulsed magnetic field of 2 Hz frequency and 0.3 mT power (one hour per day, 5 days for 4 weeks) and therapeutic swimming on the injured sciatic nerve was compared with a control group.
Based on the results, it was found that in the group that combined pulsed magnetic therapy with swimming for four weeks, this combined treatment contributed positively to nerve regeneration after the first week, while the regeneration of the damaged sciatic nerve was significantly enhanced throughout the treatment. However, four weeks was not sufficient for full recovery, so it is recommended to continue the treatment.
