Characteristics of the Psoriasis program: Psoriasis vulgaris is one of the most common non-infectious skin diseases that mainly affects the skin (usually on the elbows, knees, legs and torso, groin, genitals, and scalp), but can also affect the nails and joints. In psoriasis, the skin cells reproduce far more often than normally, which causes constant piling up of the cells and scaling of the affected area. Joint involvement - psoriatic arthritis is similar to rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory changes lead to deformation and degeneration of the joint.
The exact cause of psoriasis is unknown, but many factors have been reported to contribute to the development of the disease, such as hereditary predispositions, autoimmune mechanisms, and environmental factors supporting the development of psoriasis (stress, infection, injury, impaired liver function, certain medications, hormonal influences, and others).
In less severe forms of psoriasis, local treatments are primarily used (coal tar, corticosteroids, retinoids, keratolytic agents, or alternatively salt from the Dead Sea, and other products), while in severe forms systemic therapy is administered (methotrexate, cyclosporine and retinoids). The modern methods of psoriasis treatment include biological therapy with targeted effect on the immune mechanisms and photochemotherapy (PUVA),which combines the effects of psoralen and the UVA components of ultraviolet radiation.
Treatments for psoriasis are available that support detoxification and cleansing of the body and reduce stress on the liver, kidneys, skin and bowels when working on the elimination of waste products and metabolites from the body.
Using magnetic therapy in psoriasis
The use of Biomag low-frequency pulsed magnetic therapy for the treatment of psoriasis is suitable for both skin and joint manifestations. In psoriasis, magnetic therapy is used due to its anti-inflammatory effect to provide healing, soothing, to reduce itching, and for its immunostimulatory and detoxification effects. We use magnetic therapy both during the active period of the psoriasis skin lesions, but also during the remission phase in order to maintain the condition and prevent any exacerbation of psoriasis. In addition to attaching the applicator to the affected areas, it may be beneficial to apply the treatment to the liver and stomach to support liver detoxification and the metabolic functions and to adjust the digestive and absorption processes. In psoriasis, we apply the treatment repeatedly – or in fact throughout the sufferer’s lifetime – according to the development and course of the disease.
The Biomag devices and applicators don't need the recommendation to my closest ones, each convinced personally over time. Everybody likes it for easy and correct use, saving time. In the information brochures, they found other uses.Jan Šrotíř, Vyškov

Application of magnetic therapy in psoriasis
In psoriasis, treatment is applied repeatedly and on a long-term basis to the affected skin at 2-25 Hz and to the abdomen and liver area at 65-81 Hz to improve detoxification. The drinking regime should be supplemented with water treated under program no. 31. Large flat applicators and solenoids are suitable.
