Characteristics of multiple sclerosis: MS (multiple sclerosis) is a degenerative inflammatory disease of the central nervous system (CNS), characterised by demyelinating processes in the CNS. The clinical forms of the disease are classified according to the predominant part of the CNS that is most affected. Multiple sclerosis occurs in cycles of flare-ups (exacerbations) and remissions or with slow gradual progression. Rarely, it can have a lethal course, or the disease can disappear permanently.
The early symptoms of multiple sclerosis are often mild and vague, such as tripping up and stumbling, fatigue after walking, urinary incontinence, difficulty with finger dexterity, increasing fatigue, altered sensory perception, such as blurred vision, dizziness, tremors and a wide range of other symptoms, including paralysis and other severe involvement of the central and peripheral nervous system. Only symptomatic treatment is available for multiple sclerosis. The patient should rest, receive anti-inflammatory and analgesic therapy, avoid infections and strenuous mental and physical activities, which aggravate the course of multiple sclerosis.
Using magnetic therapy in the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS)
Biomag low-frequency pulsed magnetic therapy helps patients eliminate some difficulties related to multiple sclerosis and improves their quality of life. When applying a magnetic field to the cerebellum and the brain, effects on the transport of calcium ions from the cells into the extracellular space and increased secretion of melatonin are expected in addition to the desired vasodilatory effect. This treatment modifies the biorhythms and sleep and allows the brain to regenerate better. In this way, it significantly improves the patient’s condition, especially in those with an impaired ability to express themselves, slow memory recall, and/or slurred hesitating speech.
Due to the above reasons, Biomag low-frequency pulsed magnetic therapy is a suitable physiatric method to enrich the overall healthcare of patients with multiple sclerosis and is applicable throughout the disease alongside other treatments. It helps slow down the disease’s progression and stabilises health. Higher stimulatory frequencies leads to direct stimulation of the neural activity.
I use Biomag partly with my daughter who has multiple sclerosis. I am happy and I would recommend the device to others who have problems with the motion system.Olga Zrostlíková, Bohumín

I use programs for multiple sclerosis and sore spine. After application, I feel better and sleep better.Eva Dočkalová, Krnov
Application of magnetic therapy in the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS)
Treatment programs for multiple sclerosis are applied daily at a frequency range of 2-25 Hz, which can be alternated with programs at 50-81 Hz with vasodilatory and stimulating effects. A suitable solenoid should be used on the head, and a flat applicator on the spinal column.
