Scientific research activities
- focusing on the issues of occupational hygiene, occupational diseases and municipal hygiene with emphasis on the effects of negative factors of the working and environmental environment on the organism, evaluation of their response to the health status of exposed people, focusing on the prevention of serious diseases and damage to health
- author and co-author of more than 200 publications, lectures, final research reports, teaching texts, monographs and expertise on newly introduced techniques
As a scientific and pedagogical worker at the Military Medical Academy, he has for decades been dedicated to the evaluation of physiological and pathological changes in the organism during exposure to physical factors of the environment and work environment, including electromagnetic radiation, microwaves, noise and vibrations.
He expertly assessed the health risks in the possible operation of the EBR radar in its possible installation in the Czech Republic as part of missile defence.
He has long been involved in the use of low frequency magnetic fields to promote healing and regeneration of the body and its overall therapeutic use.
He drew on this work to collaborate in the development and assessment of Biomag devices – devices for low-frequency pulsed magnetotherapy.
